Davis, Kevin – Agua Viva

Our Story

Hello everyone, I am Kevin Davis, I am a missionary working in the Baja Mexico region. I have been serving here in Mexico for approximately 5 years. I started my time as a missionary in Mazatlán Mexico with Youth for a Mission. After my initial 7 months in Mazatlán, I moved to the Tijuana region in Northen Baja just South of San Diego California. I have done multiple different ministries but have spent most of my time building homes for the impoverished. In 2024 God pulled me away from that task, and as I listened to him and rested in him, he started to show me that he had a plan for me and my mission for him. In the summer of 2024, I was introduced to a ministry in Ensenada Mexico, a place called Rancho Agua Viva, and I took the time to come and volunteer here for some time in the late summer of 2024. As God spoke to me it became very clear that God was calling me to serve here. And as of February 1, 2025 I am currently a full time staff member at Agua Viva. Here is the purpose statement of Agua Viva-

“Welcome to Agua Viva Ministries, where our mission is to reach Mexico for Christ. Rooted in a deep commitment to proclaiming the Good News, equipping local leaders, and extending a hand to those in need, we collaborate closely with churches on both sides of the border to foster mutual growth and service. “

God was very clear in bringing me here, when I heard Gods voice and explained what I was hearing to the director of the Camp he told me they had been praying for an American to join staff and help with the short term Missions the ministry was involved with. The covid 19 pandemic really hurt the ministry and all the American volunteers left to return home. The ministry has been striving to return to the levels that were here before the pandemic. And so, God called me here to help this happen.  So, I am volunteering full time supporting the mission of growing the Short-Term Missions to come back to previous levels. I invite you to come alongside myself and support me in monthly and or even one time or occasional support. I do rely on support to get by in the time I spend here. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope you will prayerfully consider supporting myself. Below is the link to the Agua Viva Website, I am here also awaiting your visit, come do a mission trip in Mexico and see how the Love of Christ can change lives.
