White, Alan – Stone Meadow Ministry

Our Story

Stone Meadow Ministry is focused on men’s fellowship: edifying and bringing unity to the body of Christ, and making disciples in the USA. We also support a children’s home in Kenya, Africa. The Apostle Paul said, “…put on love, which is the bond of perfection.”

Purpose

In 2017, the Lord called me into ministry. Jesus said, “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” Jesus also said, “…’Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” God led me to Charlotte NC to feed, clothe, shelter, and pray for our homeless neighbors, and to serve and pray with men recovering from substance abuse.

In the book of Hebrews, we are exhorted to “consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together…” So, in 2021, the Lord sent me to Hickory NC to serve and support other ministries in various capacities, to encourage men to Christ-centered fellowship, and to lead intercessory prayer for unity, sanctification, and brotherly love in the body of Christ.

Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” Jesus also said, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” In 2023, the Lord ordained me and called me to make disciples, teaching the love of God, the knowledge of God, and the power of God. Like Isaiah said when responding to the voice of the Lord, we also say, “Here am I! Send me.”

Little Angels Christian Orphanage (LACO) is a refuge for thirty school age orphans and impoverished children who have need of food, education, counseling, and a place to call home. The children’s home is Christ-centered and provides a continuum of care including physical, emotional, and spiritual nurturing. The Home’s goal is to help the children mature into caring and productive members of society.

Our purpose at LACO is to transform the lives of the children in our care, to bring honor and glory to God, and to give each child a safe home, an education, and a future in which they can become responsible people within the community.

Other basic needs include clothing, firewood, and medication. On occasion, we also have the need of chairs, instruments, and other materials that support the ministry’s goals.

Longer term, we have goals to build boys and girls dorms and a dining hall, and we need a well for clean water. Currently, the water is fetched from a spring that’s far from our home where the children go and carry back with jerricans (large flat-sided metal containers for storing or transporting liquids).

Please pray for our ministry and consider supporting us through financial contributions.
